Bart Farinholt — SPORTMATCH60

My Story

Graduating from Denison University in 2013, Bart served as a captain his senior year and was a short stick defensive midfielder on the number one ranked Division III defense in the country. During his four years, Denison reached the NCAA tournament three times and made it to the Elite 8 once. Bart majored in Communication and minored in Spanish.

Prior to joining SPORTMATCH Bart spent four years at 3d Lacrosse where he was responsible for running recruiting showcases, camps, leagues as well as coaching  select travel teams. He knows the ins and outs of the recruitment process and what it takes both on and off the field to stand out in the ever complex college recruiting landscape.

Bart played high school lacrosse and football at St. Christopher’s School in Richmond, Virginia. He was named All-Conference in both sports and All-State in football. He captained both teams his senior year and was awarded the Athletic Director’s award for Competitive Excellence.

INTERESTING FACT:
Bart spends much of his free time coaching, tutoring and mentoring middle school and high school student-athletes with Harlem Lacrosse.

Why did you join SPORTMATCH?

I joined SPORTMATCH because of my strong belief that sport has the ability to provide life changing opportunities and relationships.

What makes SPORTMATCH unique?

SPORTMATCH fills a much needed void guiding student-athletes through the recruitment process and unearthing academic and athletic opportunities otherwise undiscovered.
