My Story

A native of Hearne, Texas, Theresa Biancardi is a U.S. Soccer Federation A-Level Licensed Coach. She has travelled, played, and coached winning club soccer in the US and abroad for both boys and girls teams over the past 30 years.

Theresa is also a former D1 Women’s Head Coach, developing the Boston College women’s team into a premier regional and national contender from 1990 – 1997, and coaching youth teams at international tournaments during her time there. It was at Boston College that she affectionately became known as the “Texas Tornado.”

Theresa began her coaching career at the secondary level after graduating from the University of Texas with a degree in education. She also coached internationally for two years at The American School in Guadalajara, Mexico. During her tenure as a D1 Head Coach, Theresa served four terms as President of the BIG EAST Conference Women’s Soccer Association. She was also an active member of the National Soccer Coaches Association, and worked closely with the Texas and Massachusetts State Olympic Development Programs.

Ultimately, a passion for youth development led her back to secondary education. Theresa returned to coach girls’ varsity and club soccer in Ohio for the next ten years before moving to North Carolina in 2008.
